Open your image, click Image--%26gt;Image Size...

Set the width and height properties accordingly. (Be sure to constrain the aspect ratio by clicking on the chain links icon. They should be linked together and not broken. Otherwise you will become a conehead.)



If you are having trouble with the file size then do this:

First resize your image to the proper width and height.

Then click File--%26gt;Save for Web...

Experiment with the settings or use the help manual.
