How do you change the size of .jpeg file?
Yes, cropping it would work. Basically, the less pixels in the picture, the smaller it will be.

If you took a picture with your camera and are trying to upload that, try to take another picture with the camera on low resolution. This will give you a much smaller file size also.

You can also try to use low quality picture settings in the camera too if you need to get it any smaller.

But you probably just need to retake the picture in a smaller resolution in your camera.
How do you change the size of .jpeg file?
The size of a .jpeg file is depend on the size of the image (height and width) and quality. I also experienced this. To change the size of a .jpeg file, open the .jpeg file in Photoshop then save it using different file name or I'll use 'save as%26quot;. Then photoshop will ask you about the image quality... then select a number ( It depends on you. The higher the number you pick, the better image's quality but its size become bigger.
google and download a software called resizejpeg

it is free.

or open the pic in mspaint and choose in the menu image

strech/skew . enter here 50 50 and then U will have the picture half size !
