Changing the Resolution size of DivX Videos/files?

I recently made some DVDS to play on my dvd player.. they're divx files..

The problem is that when I pop in the DVD.. the subtitles go way OFF the screen, Is there a way ( or rather a program) to change the resolution size of the divx file, so that the subtitles will fit into my standard television screen?

The easiest way would be, use the zoom feature on your dvd remote control, or television, that's what I do, works like a charm.

Most tv's can convert formats 4:3, 16:9, super wide, expand, shrink etc....

There are many softwares that can change resolution size, visit vidhelp for free/paid softwares, and tools you will need to convert the video, site also has tutorials and forum.

I use TMPGEnc to crop, resize movies.
