i know alot about computers but i dont know too much about paging file size info, is this ok, i mean will i mess my pc up by doing this?

no you won't mess it up. The page file is just hard drive space that gets used as RAM when your ram gets low.
But please note that the hard drive has moving parts so it is much slower than RAM. The best thing you can do to improve speed is to add more RAM

Usually, the size of your paging file should be 1.5x the amount of RAM installed. However, the more RAM you have installed, you can relax the size of your paging file to 1.0x (i.e. 2.0GB or more RAM).
