How to create a batch files to do checking on files (date and file size)?

what i want to do is check my configuration files is being change and save by other ppl.

so i would like to have a simple program to help me check the date saved and the file size of the configuration files everyday.



any one can hlep on this to create a simple program using batch files?

dir {c:\config.txt} /T:W { } = whatever director the files you want to check are in

/T:W is a switch that checks when the last time the files was written



if you have a date your trying to check against you could do that too
