i have a file of 187 pictures, is there a way i can change them all to a smaller size rather than just one at a time

you can use winrar to compress bulk files at once. Go to cnet. Find downloads. search for winrar and download it. After the installation you can go over to the file that holds your pictures and right click to compress with winrar.
